What we collect, and what we do with it

Who we are

Slim Diet provides online nutrition and training coaching in the United Arab Emirates. We are the ones who decide what happens to the information described here. To ask anything about it, message +971 50 334 3880 on WhatsApp or email slim.diet.uae@gmail.com.

The calculator

The BMI calculator and the optional daily calorie estimate work entirely in your browser. The height, weight, age, sex and activity level you enter, and the results, are not sent to us, not saved in your browser, not added to the page address, and never passed to analytics or advertising tools. Close or reload the page and they are gone.

When you contact us

Most WhatsApp buttons open a general message or no message. After the assessment, the message includes your name, saved request reference, goal, activity and training preference. It contains no height, weight, BMI or mobile number. WhatsApp opens the message; it is sent to Slim Diet only when you press send. WhatsApp, part of Meta, carries the conversation under its own terms.

The homepage assessment asks about your goal, activity, training preference, optional food preferences, height, weight and age (16+). When you submit your name and mobile number, our existing lead system saves these details, calculates BMI internally, and emails us the request with its assessment context. We also save your language, landing page, referring site, campaign tags, IP address and browser identification. We use this to contact you about your programme, understand where the enquiry came from and prevent abuse. The programme page’s optional contact form still sends only your name, number, language and visit source. A saved request remains saved even if you do not continue on WhatsApp.

If you go on to start a programme, we use the details you share — your goals, food preferences, routine, training setup, and any health notes you choose to tell us about — to prepare your plan and to follow up with you. Customers sign in to the Slim Diet app at app.drslimcare.com, a separate service from this website.

Records from earlier versions of this website

Records sent through earlier calculators, questionnaires and contact forms are still held in our existing lead system. They follow the retention and deletion terms below. You can ask to see, correct or delete yours. The separate BMI calculator on bmi.html sends no measurements; the homepage assessment sends its answers only with your contact submission.

What is collected without you typing it

Like every web server, ours records your IP address, your browser’s identification and the pages you request. For the length of a visit, your browser also keeps the page you arrived on, the website that sent you (its address only), and, if you came from an advert, the advertising tags in the link (such as a campaign name or a click identifier). The tags stay on the links between our pages, and all three go with a request you send us with the contact form.

Who else can see it

This website is hosted by Hostinger, who keep the server running and can technically reach what is on it. Beyond that:

• Google serves the fonts these pages use, so your IP address reaches Google when a page loads.
• Meta receives page and funnel signals, such as starting or completing an assessment step, opening the contact step, a confirmed lead save, a failed request, or clicking WhatsApp, the app or supplements. Signals carry only page-level codes: stage, source page, ad variant and a short failure reason where relevant. They never carry assessment answers, body measurements, results, names or mobile numbers.
• TikTok is told when a page opens, when the calculator works out a BMI, when you tap through to the programme page, when you tap the WhatsApp button to ask about the programme, and when our server has saved a request you sent with the contact form. These signals carry no detail at all, only that the thing happened. Like Meta, it never receives your measurements, your results, your name or your number. It sets cookies of its own.
• WhatsApp, also Meta, carries any conversation you start with us, under its own terms.
• Our email provider carries the notification our server sends us with the details you submit. For the assessment, that includes your assessment answers.

No one else. Your details are not sold, rented or passed to other coaches, clinics or sellers.

What stays on your device

We set no advertising cookies of our own. The site stores your language choice and, for the visit, campaign attribution and which page-level events were counted. Assessment and form answers are held only in page memory until you submit them; they are not written to browser storage. Reloading starts the assessment again. Our server deduplicates repeat submissions from the same number within 24 hours. Meta and TikTok measurement remains enabled, and each sets its own cookies.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that never become clients are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept while we are working together and for 24 months afterwards, so a returning client does not start from nothing. The same applies to the records from earlier versions of this website. Ask sooner and we will delete it sooner.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message +971 50 334 3880 on WhatsApp or email slim.diet.uae@gmail.com and we will do it within 30 days. There is no charge and you do not have to give a reason. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Age

You must be 16 or over to use this site. The BMI categories and the calorie estimate are designed for adults, so the estimate is offered only from 18. If you are 16 or 17 and want to talk to us about a programme, a parent should be part of that conversation. If you tell us someone under 16 has sent us their details, we will delete them.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that materially affects people already on our list will be told to them directly.
